No, it’s not a typo, it’s right!

I’m an English teacher who is also English or in other words, I’m English and I’m also an English teacher.

I could have called it Diary of a British English teacher, but it doesn’t quite have the same ring to it!

After 30 years of teaching I’ve started to put together a few reflections on what I’ve learnt from my colleagues in Italy and abroad, my own teachers and tutors, my personal experience of learning a second language and of course, my wonderful pupils.

I hope that you find these articles interesting and can maybe identify with them, but if not, I hope you just enjoy reading something in English that isn’t too heavy going after a hard day in school.
